MMS
MMS (Multimedia Messaging System) is the sister protocol to SMS and was created to allow rich media based messages to be sent to mobile devices.

- Send 1600 text characters.
- Send up to 10 images.
- Sent, delivered, and failed receipts supported.
Set up MMS
You must have an MMS-enabled phone number to send your MMS from; contact your Customer Success representative to arrange this prior to attempting to send.
Supported countries
The MMS channel can only deliver messages to phone numbers registered in, and connected to a network in, the following countries:
- Canada
- The USA
Restrictions and items of note
- Not all mobile networks support delivery receipts in the US and Canada.
- A minimum of one and a maximum of 10 image parts can be included in an MMS message.
- The maximum size of each image sent by MMS cannot exceed 750,000 bytes or 732KB.
- You can only send MMS to phone numbers in the supported countries.
